I needed to get some of my small tropical hibiscus plants up off a shelf in my greenhouse by hanging them. They're not in hanging pots and I didn't want to repot them into hanging pots.

So! What's cheap girl to do???!

I thought and thought....wire hangers!

Just opened up the portion the clothing actually hangs on, forming it into a circle. Placed it around the pot, pulling tight and twisted several times. Used 2 per pot, with the actual hanger portions on either side to hang over the rod.

Free; got rid of wire hangers (Joan Crawford would have been SO proud!); and I didn't have to do any cutting of the wire!
