What brand of stone was used in this project, is this manufactured or natural?

They call it "cabernet" . The stone yards in my Northern California area are very secretive about their sources and rename the stone instead of using the quarry name.
I believe it comes from Idaho. If you call Shamrock Building materials or American Soils , both in San Rafael CA and ask about this stone you might get a little more info about it.
