Just planted my apricot seeds germinated in the same way. It took about 3 months. Make sure that the paper towel is not too wet -- only damp.

3 months? I thought 2 weeks or something.

I checked my almonds today in the fridge and I saw a litte root. So this technique works!

If the root large enough is, I will put them in soil. Do i need to place the almond still in the fridge or in a warm place?
