Still looking since 2007 for a papaya with almost round up to 2# fruits rich

gold color and an aroma that is a little perfumy but not in a bad papaya way.

I had to have gotten the seeds from a papaya I bought in say 1989. I can send

photo to a real email address. It had fruits about 4 ft off the ground plants

no higher than 7 ft. Fruit flies never got it as flesh which was gold color

was too thick to penetrate the master gardeners said. I am trying waimanolo

but see now it can grow 10-15 ft. It is also definitely not Hovey. hovey by

the way has no flavor. Not worth growing in my estimation and grew an easy

ten ft. here.
