Thank you both. Many years ago I had a week-end course in botanical drawing but did not do very much after that. Then in 1997 I began to do cover drawings for our bromeliad society newsletter. The Bat Plant (which is not a bromeliad)I did for a lady who found the plant weird. It is, but it is also quite elegant.
