What a pretty color! We have lots this year, too, all red. We planted some about 5 years ago, nothing. Next year, one. Next year, nothing. This year...a whole row of poppies!

We had red ones in a previous home; as I remember, they were pretty good at spreading, aren't they?

We have some of the more common orange ones, but the salmon above is my favorite. Alas, it has not spread much...maybe 3 plants this year.

That is my absolute favorite Poppy. The petals look like crinkled tissue paper, so enchanting. Thanks for reminding me to plant some. I have a new garden now. I wonder where I should put them? They like afternoon shade, right? Robin in NC
