Oooohhh, how pretty! Purple is my favorite color!!!

I know this is an older post but I love that plant too. In Tennessee Nurseries It's called Purple Queen. I have to take mine inside in the winter but it roots in water in 3 days so I have plenty to put out the next year.

I brought a piece from my Dad's house in B'ham Al when he died in 1989 and have kept it going ever since. It's one plant I'd never be without!

We call that Moses in a Basket because of the way the tiny flower looks nesting in the leaf.

just the other day i was chuckling with my neighbor as to how i love just about every plant that i see here because i have not seen them in India and how the plants that I find common place (in India) get ooh aaaahs here. :-)

this one is literally considered a weed - more of a succulent weed- in India. I wouldn't mind growing it for its color and easy maintainance, but would abstain only coz the look I would get if my mom discovered it in my lawn.
