I have never seen kudzu offered for trade by gardeners here on GW, but you might check out buying it on Ebay, or elsewhere.

Ok thanks for the link, however I'm still left without a clue. Could you just send me a link to the "member exchange page"? I don't see any indication of where my trade list page is located.

If you click on My Page in 'your' post, it will take you to your Member Page. At the top of the page will then be a link to See my Trade List. When you click that you can see your trade list.

I just noticed that you don't have a Member Page email link so that you can easily be reached.

This thread-addressing newbie and newer member issues explains how to set up your Member Page email link. The first 'reply' in that thread covers Member has Not filled out their Member Exchange list page with instructions and tips.

I totally agree with jesky, it takes years if not decades to get rid of. A dozen goats wouldn't knock a dent in it for years, even if that was the only food source.

This is a plant that's illegal to ship across state lines in many places.It is NOT something you want to plant. It CANNOT be contained.Birds eat the seeds and poop them everywhere.

Welcome to gardenweb:) It took me quite a while to get the hang of where my trade lists were too. But it's worth it!

I tend to agree with those discouraging from planting kudzu due to it's invasive nature, but with one small exception: if you were planning to grow this for a food source (as this is quite edible and nutritious) and not as an ornamental left to flower, then I'm not sure I see the harm. I'd just want to make sure it could be killed if you ever changed your mind:)

There are several places here in Tennessee that have large patches of kudzu...countrycaroline's comment inspired me to imagine TDOT using hoards of goats to eradicate it:D
