My first orange tree grafted did not do any good. So we purchased another more mature, 1.5m tall grafted orange (there were no un-grafted ones anyway). Did all the right things (my husband planted this one). Looking good. Then some nasty microscopic black insect took up residence amongst the lovely juicy top foliage So we used white oil on the top foliage and placed small cups of oil to deter earwigs. Now the top foliage is being demolished. Please, can someone tell us what we should do?
