I finally got to see it. BRRRRRRR "BETTER YOU THAN ME!" I'll stick to my 90 degree job. What you need to do is tell us how you were able to get it posted on this forum. I would like to know. I expect to see some video clips of tufa tutorials from you. Now that you have busted into the video thing, we are expecting a whole lot from you, at least I am.

I'd rather be watching the complex patterns of air embedded in thick black ice, the white dance of driven snow and the sensuous curves of the snow banks carved by the wind...

than be smelling chickapoo in the sweltering heat. But that's just me.

Maybe, but watching bubbles don't pay my bills. I only work a couple of hours a day, then I get to do what I want. But, yeah, I hate chickapoo smell, too. But it washes out in the bath water you.... you....., what you said!

Well, I finally figured out with the wind howling in the middle of the lake I could take neither a nice crystal clear pic of the ice crystals, cracks and trapped air nor an interesting shot of the moving snow. But here are a few more taken on the leeward side of Crab Island.

BB, someone has posted copies of old photos, encased in a protective plastic covering, on a few trees around the island to let visitors know what the original structures looked like.
