Thanks for the detailed recipe. What size are your 'scoops'? about 1 quart

Will you be burning off the fibre hairs once it is cured? yes, when it is dry, I have a LP weed burner from Harbour Freight that will make short work of the hair.

What's next? maybe a hypertufa bridge? Would it be strong enough? any ideas?

The young lady on the bridge was a foster girl in our home for 2 years and now she comes to visit us for weeks at a time! this pic is from a water garden tour last summer.

What a stunning picture! Where was the photo taken?

Is "Lank Custer" = Lancaster, CA?

If wood's strong enough, 'tufa will be, given proper curing and finishing.

Lank Custer is in Lan caster, PA If you say Lan caster you are not from "Lank custer"! Not sure if I will make a bridge yet or not, my main objective is to make a sandstone watertrough and other rustic garden troughs. About ready to try a bigger trough.
