Construction of Tufa + Freezing Temps

In my search for information about constructing Tufa in "maginal" temperatures I was not able to find a detailed answer to my question.

Q. Can you make Tufa outside with night time temperatures dipping below freezing?

Q. Can you cure Tufa in the same temperature swings with night temps going "slightly" (say 30 degrees) below freezing?

I have read that some say that 50 degrees is optimal and I wonder if the curring process is slower in near freezing temperatures (if one needs to keep the temp above 32F).

I have not made Tufa but want to get started this winter.

Q. Can Tufa be made outside (above Freezing) and then rolled into a heated garage (also above 32F) if needed to cure?

Thanks for any help in this area.

I have learned a TON on this site and even read till 4am one night last week.
