Frankly,I don't know!Me and computers,other than your basic text messages,are always at war.I think if you type in the URL in photobucket,you will get the pic.I've got more to send,but not until Friday.

I'm sorry, I meant to try to explain how to post a pic , when you go to Pbucket, you will see Url-Tag-Img under the pic, left click on the Tag, it will be a blue color, then you right click and push copy, then you go back to your post and right click in the post and push paste, and your pic will be in the post. You might need to reduce the size in the editing part of your Pbucket, I don't know how big your pics are.
I had a hard time doing pics at first, I didn't think I would ever figure it out, but now I can do just about every thing with my pics except make them talk, so if I can do it, anyone can :-)

Rick, instead of paste-ing that into the message box, look under the message box and you will see Options Link URL:, if you had pasted it there, and then in the Name of the Link, called it, say, Rickharmer face, your message would have had a purple highlighted link that all we have to do is click on it and it will take us there, see???? Try that. If you want it to appear in the message box, do what Louisianna girls said above. Good luck, and nice job!!

Paws,the colour comes from modernmastersinc.com.It's called Metal Effects.You prime your piece,then apply the copper paint(it contains copper particles,so it's really metal!)then apply the patina aging solution to get the patina.It ain't cheap,but our experience with all the rain is that the piece holds up fine(minimum six months exposure,near record rainfall).Check for a dealer near you.Ours came from a Benny Moore paint store.We also got iron,that starts to show rust with the activation solution.

I love that face! I am using the modern masters too on my cast leaves. I tried some of the sealer but dont like the finish as well. Sine the sealer is not matte it kind of looks fake when it is shiny. Are you putting any sealer on these? Since I am selling a few of these I am concerned that they hold up ok. If they were mine I could just repaint them.

WOW! Nice face Rick. Is that from a mold or did you sculpt it? And you are right about the magical Metalmasters paint & patinas. The seem to work well on just about anything. And are you sealing the finish once you've gotten the patina? Good old beeswax is excellent on concrete & cement art. Doesn't seem to yellow and sheds water like...well...Beeswax. Great work and thanx for the pic.

Thanks all for the kind words.The mask is from a mold/mask my sis-in-law had in her garage for years.My wife brought it back on a trip last year(sis lives in Petaluma).sis can't remember where she got it,but it was for an art class.It's fairly lightweight and its starting to show cracks(the mold,not the concrete!)so I'll cast a urethane mold of it soon.
As to the finish-nothing.Nada.Zip.Bare-naked.I DID put a finish on another with the same colour and patina and the glaze removed most of the patina.so,I'll take Tango's suggestion of beeswax.
More pics to come,most of them from acquired molds.And,to maintain household harmony,I must point out that my dear wife does the finishing.She claims that 45 years of putting on makeup qualifies her better than I.God thing she doesn't know about my dark secret...

Beeswax is a good idea -- I have bees! Would hot sun melt the wax too much?
