Wood stain as a coloring agent

I have been doing hypertufa for about four years and have discovered that I love to keep it simple. I never liked the look of concrete colorants so I decided to try wood stain. So, what I do is just brush on wood stain (there's lots of stain colors). For a textured look, just sponge it on. For a solid effect, just paint it all over. After it's stained, I use a wet look sealer (I like Behr Wet Look Sealer the best), and the effect is dramatic.
