I've been using the admix recommended some years ago from Home Depot. The Acrylic Mortar Admix is a liquid polymer.I note that Custom Building Products(maker of said admix)also produces Customflex,a liquid latex additive and Customcrete.Has anyone used either product?I know that several of you have used latex paints with some success, but I'm looking for the other people,if you're out there, who may have used these or a similar products.I tend to use 100% admix for almost all of my pieces, for the additional strengh, higher density, low slump and quick set up.At this juncture I'm torn about curing;some products MSDS suggest no water exposure for 14 days!
I appreciate that cost may enter into some of your thinking. That's why this thread may have little or no response. This stuff ain't cheap, but it achieves my goal. And that's to produce strong, lightweight concrete art.
Cheers from here
