kathy, lightly spray with a release agent..and press into your 'leaf mold' or into any other mold. Then I cover with a really damp towel, and cover with plastic. in a day or so, remove from the mold CAREFULLY! File a little around the edges, and place into a water bath to leach lime etc. If you have lots of 'bug holes', chances are you used too much spray. You can - when you remove from the mold, mix up just a small amount, and lightly fill the holes. But they usually give the leaf character.

Thanks Marcia, Ok release agent it is. Now for the weather to get nice enough. I did some cabbage leaves outside one day when it was really nice and drug them inside to dry but it does create a mess. DH is use to it! I agree I wish I was younger to help out on the back, tufa and planting. Kathy
