I have done many a hypertufa herb pot and in fact, find the herbs thrive in them. I like to make a big bowl and place about five different types of herbs like basil, thyme, parsley, marjoram and oregano. I take my kitchen shears and clip off a little and it not only flavors your food, but keeps them healthier by giving them a prune job now and then. I guess I never thought about the concrete bowl bit. I've eaten many an herb grown out of hypertufa bowls and I'm still here to tell about it.

valolson1... how did you do this hypertufa herb pot? do you have any links/pictures of the process and the final result? I want to do one myself, but don't know what process to follow really..

any ideas/thoughts appreciated ;-)
