My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Just found Garden Web and started making pots with hypertufa this week. Lets get some action in this form. I want to learn from those currently making pots etc.
First thing would be what to avoid. I have made a number of small items and already made some mistakes. Like taking the mould off too soon and damaging edges, but maybe they will be OK when they dry. How long before the mixture is usually set hard? I live in relatively dry S. Idaho. ron...
24 - 36 HRS and you can remove from the mold. While in mold keep it moist. Spray with water, and keep it in a trash bag, tie the end. Hypertufa needs to cure. Stay damp , dont allow to dry out completely. Longer is is damp the stronger it becomes.
