Little and Lewis, I have been visiting the GW for a few months, and every now and then ya'lls name pops up, just the other day someone here showed some pics of your creations, and I have to say I am so very impressed. I started working with crete and tufa about 2 years ago,and I still have a lot to learn. Sure wish I was close enough to visit, and meet you in person. Very nice work, and thanks for your input.

OMG, what a privilege to have you here! I love looking through your site occasionally to get inspired. You do beautiful work with beautiful colors to match. Your names come up here quite often. There are a few that get to go to your open house every year and we're always envious that a lot of us aren't closer but gush over whatever pictures we can view!

I did read a bio about you guys one time and seem to remember one of you were from Texas, Dallas maybe? Too bad you don't have a storefront here--I'd really love to see your creations close up.

I just ordered your book last Friday, CAN'T WAIT for it to get here!! Your work is beautiful, how wonderful it must be to do what you love and live in such an incredible enviroment! It KILLS me that I live sooo far away :( Maybe some day I will get to visit your incredible gardens and art!

There has been some backroom debate as to whether or not this thread was really started by the REAL Little and Lewis. So I went to their website, found their email address and sent them a note, asking if it was really them.

I received a response saying that YES, it is indeed them! And that they never realized that they were the subject of a chat line. (WHAT? They didn't realize they were so great, and that we would be slobbering over their work? Sheesh!)

Well, now that the Kings of Concrete are walking and talking among us, I guess we have to start minding our manners. We'll just have to limit our mud-slinging to the Portland type.

Thanks.... we enjoyed the visit as well.... we were treated so nicely. We have a half dozen or so talks planned this year...but none in Canada yet...BTW... did you see us on the Vicki Gabereau show.....it was great fun.

Yes... We did buy the house in Mexico and it even has room for a studio for us....there is more information about it on the pop-up window that comes up when you go to our website.....

The house that you guys bought isn't the Flying Concrete house that is for sell is it? "Adria's" house? I daydream about that house.If you guys bought it I won't feel so bad about not having it myself.I quickly looked on your web site but,didn't see the pop up. Will check it again later.

Hey! How about starting a Little & Lewis East? Ithaca NY would be the perfect place for you guys. So sad your so far away. We have nothing like this around here, and being sort of close to NYC and all the designers and decorators..... I'll even come and work for you! : )

It is indeed wonderful to have you visit on the forum. Your garden is incredible, and a perfect ambiance for the work you do. Your quality does not need advertising, word of mouth does indeed work. I'm showing in a little farmers market in town, and people ask me frequently if I know about you guys. You are quite well known and appreciated.No need to be shy.Hopefully the house in Mexico is for visits, vacations.. you won't be moving, I hope.

I just got your book from the library, after a 3-month wait. I am definitely buying it. Your use of colors and the "antique artifact" look was so special. I check your website often. Would love to see your gardens someday.

L&L, I'm a tufa newbie (very, very new) and pretty new to this forum, but I've admired your work for some time. I like the imagination, whimsy and sense of fun you put into things, as well as solid craftsmanship and artistic vision. I'd love to have room and time to branch out into suchlike things... maybe one day, when the have-to projects are done!

At any rate, thank you for checking out the forum and providing a little personal insight!
