I've just finished my first project and have a couple of questions. I made troughs...1 box-in-box rectangular and 1 styrofoam-in-styrofoam round. I've unmolded and let them sit for a week under plastic. Do I now uncover them and let them sit outside while I water them down regularly? Or do I keep them covered longer?

They aren't too, too bad for a first attempt but kind of rough around the edges. Is now the time for a wire brush? One still seems pretty soft and I hesitate to go at it to strongly in fear that I'll ruin it.
