Thanks. Itdl, the wall is one I built for some clients as part of a job. When I finished the job, I thought it was a good place to take some shots of the Moai.
In fact, the people I did the work for, were such good clients, I left the statue with them as a gift. They were stoked.
The Moai, I had sculpted a couple of years ago, and I pour them with a latex mold, and fibreglass mother mold.
It weighs 60kg,( about 120lb), but I have got the weight down to 38kg ( about 84lb) using lightweight aggregate.
This one is the heavy version, sand/cement 3:1, water reducer, or plasticiser. Integrally coloured with oxide, ( very in-efficient) and de-molded after about 20hrs.
Very hard to lift and demold one-up.
The latest one I've poured, I'm going to stain with a water based concrete stain.
