I spoke to a lady today that owns 3-D Plastics.She's located in Maple Ridge,BC.She primarily wholesales her stuff,doesn't operate a storefront.She sells mold making materials(fancy silicones,urethanes,thinners)and she also sells stuff for the concrete and mortar industry,including polymers and glass fibres.Although she normally gets her fibres in 50 lb bags,she said she will do 1 lb bags as well.The glass fibres are from a large company in Spain,and,yes,they are glass.She says they disperse very easily,and add to the strength of the piece,be it architectural or artistic.I'm going to see her next month,and I'll be getting fibres,and possibly mold materials as well.Her name is Elaine and she can be reached at 604-462-7755.
