It looks good to me! Is that a real rock it is sitting on or did you make that too? Either way it is a great presentation .

Hi Laura; it is a real rock that I just cemented the egg to. The rock had a natural depression that the egg sat in just fine and it also has some fossils that kinda makes it go with the theme. I guess my rock hunting/saving habit is paying off...grins.

Very very nice! It definitely looks like a fossil and the inside color makes it come alive. I wouldn't want to take away the beauty of it by putting a plant in it. Does it have a drainage hole?

I really like it, and the base sets it off so well.

thanks for all the compliments! I don't have anyone other than my DH that I can get critiques from and "oh, that's cool!" is not very constructive..grins.

Kim: I forgot to add a drainage hole to this planter so will just use a pot to put inside it. I think I will use a small pot cause I like the inside color too! I am too chicken to try and drill a hole now. Power tools don't always agree with me...another story.

Doll, you can always put crushed pots or gravel at the bottom of the planter.
