shipping tufa

I'd appreciate advice on how to ship hypertufa items. What sort of packaging do you suggest and what service do you use...USPS? parcel post, first class, or..? I have had offers of trades for some of my things, but I'd be really upset if something got broken in the process and I had to try and replace it.

What are you shipping - How fragile is it Hypertufa items could be a lot of things.

If you use USPS flat rate boxes would be the best price.

Plantman, I want to ship a square trough, 6inches tall and 8 inches wide. It's 13 pounds. I used a portland-peat-vermiculite mix, and am not sure if this batch had sand or not. And Jojo, I did figure out that if I had made it shorter I could have used a flat rate box!

Yeah, lots of bubble wrap....
