Simple Hypertufa planters

First one was made many years ago and is doing the best this year.

The next two were done a little bit ago and are also doing well. The two Dream and tile one have feet that lift it off the surface nicely.

Plant mix is 80% potting soil, 10% perlite, and 10% bark. Planted with sedums.

Dena I especially liked the planter with the copper wire and inset tiles.I made a cat a few weeks ago, he has a totally different look than yours.I love yours, it is very sophisticated looking, has a real serene look.Did you do it over a wire armature? Mine looks more like garfield,lol. Enjoyed looking at your pics.

My favorite of the new ones is the copper and tile one also. As DREAM ages it is looking better.
In regard to the cat, I have posted a new discussion. Mine still needs a collar (BLING) and sneakers, like a Kliban cat.

I looked through your webpage, and tried to find the cat you were referring to. I really love the flamigo and the mermaid is new, and what a treat to see. Very cool items.
By the way on your page I had a difficult time getting many of the pics to increase in size or do anything when clicking on the thumbnail as suggested.

Hi Dena, thanks for telling me about the picture challenge. I will try and get that worked on. I haven't taken a pic of the cat yet.Glad you liked my mermaid and flamingo :)I just finished the cats painting and painted a larger sphere I had been working on. I will try and remember how to post pics, and post them . Cliff. there is no official book or video, there is a faqs at the top of the page which wuld give you a lot of info to get started.

Review things and ideas in this forum, ask lots of questions, review other sites that have concrete art, design and sculpture. Don't stick to just concrete sites, there are lots of craft and art pieces that can be adapted to the use of cement and cement type mixes, mix the media Continue to look at the leaves on your tropicals and say I can do this, and make a leaf or two, that will keep you salivating for the next project.
I think my site and respect for ART and the diversity in it all has improved 100 fold since venturing to this site.

I love your new projects!!! The basalt rock formation is my favorite. Are they really heavy? The colors are amazing!!!
