Those are FANTASTIC! Great job! What recipe did you use? Is there any colourant in the mix? We're looking at doing a dry creek bed in our yard but are stalling because we need a couple of large 'anchor' boulders to start it off. This just might be the solution.

Garden chicken...I actually just used cement and sand (only cuse that's what I had) and added a little leftover latex paint (supposed to help with elasticity). It was about 3 sand to 1 cement and I used the small flat patties technique that 'dena' suggested on this forum. To texture the rocks I used a sea sponge. There are about 15-18 layers of thinned latex paint on each rock, and then I seal coated them for protection.

Nope, I'm talking about the fourth picture down, in the center of the picture between the square rock on the left and the 3 stones that are kind of in line descending toward the water. There are 3 very flat things sticking out between the stones and all are in a line. One looks like there's water cascading off of it. There also looks like there's one to the right of the 3 descending stones.
DEER FENCE! You must have short deer there. LOL! The deer fence around here are 8 to 10 feet tall. There are some here that are shorter but use multiple, staggered fences. Don't quote me but I think I was told or read that white tail deer can take a 5 to 6 foot fence from a standing start, a 6 to 7 foot fence at a run and a 8 footer in a panic flight. I hope you just have short deer or that fence is taller than it looks. Have a great day. Loved the pictures. Billie

I think you are refering to my waterfall rocks that allow the water to flow nicely into the pond. The far right one needs a little tweaking yet.

Haha!!! We do not have short deer here....I wish!!! Mostly white-tails though.
The fence is part of an optical illusion because the side the deer walk on, it slopes down and is actually about 6-7 foot jump. It is not a perfect solution and I suppose the deer could jump it if needed, but the open field beside me is a much more likely place for them to run. Looks nicer than the 7 ft wire fence I have around my veges.
