Did you get the heavy black rubbery ones? I have those from my local feed store. They are great for inside molds because they flex. I found they have to be supported to use the outside because the bottoms give too much.

The larger ones are of metal. One 8 inch is black rubber...thought it would be strong enough for outside mold because it is smaller. But thanks for the heads up.

Sharon, Are the sides smooth on the metal ones? The ones around here have ridges in the sides so you can't use as molds.

billie ann, Hummmmm, well, the sides of the large pan has ridges which are perpendicular to the edge of the pan.......and I use several layers of plastic. So far I haven't had and difficulties.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, ones around here have ridges/grooves hortizontal to the edge. Once the mix sets up you can't remove your piece.
