Use shredded paper. I use newspaper, or paper that does not have glossy photos and print. 5 gal bucket, fill with hot water. Soak a few days and stir with drill using a drywall wand attachment

I've built a few papercrete pieces and I find it easy to start with a gallon of water in a three gallon bucket. To that gallon of water I add as much shredded or torn strips of paper as the water will soak up. After it soaks a day or two it should be easy to pulp with the drill and paint mixer. Then add the Portland and Perlite to make my mix.

Newsprint works the best for me. It soaks up well and is easy to turn into pulp.

I found a bigger round container at WM and it seems easier to mix in. I'm using a reg bucket for the paper. I've mixed 2 different recipes and have had good results. Thanks for the suggestions. Kathy
