gunnera leaf molds

Hi,Im new to this forum.I have recently discovered the world of leaf casting and have become totally addicted to it.I have been casting some really large elephant ear leaves and would now like to do a gunnera leaf.I havent found anyone in my area who grows gunnera.Could someone tell me if there is somewhere that sells molds for the gunnera leaf(I have checked ebay,)or does anyone still send leafs to anyone?I really want this leaf and would really appreciate any help.Thanks,velvet

Try a garden club in your area. Maybe a garden center has one that you can ask for a leaf in return for one of your smaller castings. I've never had any luck growing them in sunny Pennsylvania.

Garden center! Such a simple solution but brilliant!!! This time of year I'm sure they wouldn't mind some "pruning" especially if they can have one of your castings in return.

Hi Velvet,
I think I saw some Gunnera on the "Down the Garden Path" tour in Nashville in May. They had the same shape and were fairly large, though didn't seem quite as big as those I see in Google images.
