Tell us more! How big is it? Is it heavy? Outdoors or indoors? Do you want it displayed on the ground or in the air? If it is about the size of a bowling ball and you want a really outstanding display, you might want to make 1799 more of these and stack them in a pyramid. I saw that at some site recently - 1800 decorated bowling balls stacked in perfect symmetry .

It is very heavy, all concrete covered with tufa. I would like to display it sitting on something and yes it will be outside.

clairdo, I love your sphere and the colors. What kind of coloring medium did you use?

Serene I used metallic craft paint. I put a coat of turquoise, then a coat of pink pearl, wiped it off then a coat of silver and wiped it off also. Will be putting a coat of sealer before i put it outside.
