I'd go with 1 or 2 as they provide storage. You can never have enough storage!

I love number 2! You can store unsightly items behind the doors and use a basket in the middle for items you use all the time.

I voted #1 as I love the style; however #2 would be great as well with similar cushion to #1

I like the simple lines of the first and, if you can get baskets it would be super functional. I'd even consider wire baskes or white ones. Maybe the Container Store has some in the exact dimensions. Why not use the green in the feature picture. It looks like a great color to use with your walls.
I think the storage in the second one will be a bit hard to access, but it looks good.
The third one misses on storage, but if you don't need the extra storage it would work. Although I would not chose white for this choice, I think the black or dark wood would be better.

I love #1. Where is it from? I'd love one myself.

#1 is from Serena and Lily, and they sell canvas box containers that fit right into the cubbies for storage.

    for a mudroom #1 or #2

I like #1 and #2. For us, #1 would be better since #2 would conflict with the beadboard wainscoting. Where did you find #1? Thanks in advance!

I would go with # 1 and put baskets in the cubbies. I often find cute affordable baskets at Home Goods or TJMaxx

    I like 2 for it's covered storage

I think number 2 has a lot more interest and looks more custom made. The top detail to hold the cushion in place is nice too!

I like the closed storage of #2.

I like the second one- you can hide some of the stored items.

I like the first one but the second one with doors will hide more mess. A few muddy shoes or boots in the open one will quickly make a big mess to keep after. Guess it depends on the ages of kids involved also.

if you live in the north country like I do (calgary, AB) it is customary to take your shoes off before coming in the house. EVERYone takes their shoes off, even guests. So, I would opt for number 1 with the baskets since it's easier to just toss them in. If you live in an area where you don't have quite as much "stuff" (hats, gloves, shoes...) I would go with number two, which still has storage but is slightly more interesting in it's look. number three is nice if this is a secondary entry that isn't used as much.

Style wise number 1 is my favorite, but which style would look best in your house is a good question. They are are pretty different.

    1. you can put cute baskets or boxes and fill them up with anything you need, and label them so you can organize them more. Or, you can just keep them as they are and put shoes.
But personally, I'd use at least one and put shoe cleaning stuff and accesories.. :)

I would go with bench 3 because it is cozier looking and adds a bit of personality to the space; unless you absolutely need the storage. If the storage is a must, then I'd go with 2 because it is more interesting looking & functional than 1. 1 is too boxy and bland looking even with the addition of baskets, plus although the fabric options are all pretty, I don't like them with the stark painted white base.

If your home is more modern than traditional I would go with number 1, but if it is more traditional I would go for number 2. I think you would regret number 3 as there is no storage capacity.

#1..it's fresh and modern- and looks alot more comfortable to sit on than the other two. #3 at TJ Maxx for $79.
