Hello,

Recently I noticed on my 7 two-year old bushes (and also on a rose bush nearby, that on some of the leaves there are some small white "granules" resting on the leaf surface. They are the about the size and hardness of a grain of coarse salt. I spent a good hour last night removing them from as many leaves as I could. I would imagine that they are too hard to be a type of egg. All in all, the bushes are healthy and green. It's been fairly dry here, but they have been frequently watered with barreled rain water. I just hope this isn't a prelude to a possible leaf diasese later this summer. Has anyone else experienced something similiar to this?
