Great job! What is the granite called? It looks like Carmel Gold, but not sure. Just curious, did you use Houzz to help make decisions along the way. It turned out really great. Thanks for sharing.

I think those are quote unquote stainless steel, not black appliances. It looks like the appliances stayed in the same place, but the penninsula move to the left of the refrigerator.

It turned our really lovely, you must be thrilled and ready for your next project ;P

Not sure where that particular horse came from, but I have seen ones that look identical to it at Homesense.

LOL! Glad you all like the horse too! I purchased him in Eagle Nest, NM, several years ago. He is hand carved and pretty special to me. Some people think I am crazy for putting him in the kitchen, but oh well! :-) Appreciate the compliments on the kitchen!

Accessories in the kitchen make it even more special. That the horse has special meaning is the best! We need something that makes a smile each morning. :)

Hey there , don't think people think you are crazy for putting a horse up there I love it , plus I am sick of roosters up there nice to see something different. I have a iron cat up on mine .I don't even own a cat but I know how cats are haha. I had a neighbor once that in her entry way she had the most beautiful hand carved horse in a laying position on a what looked like a sofa table in her entry it was fabulous. Nothing else related to it in the entire house so that horse was a wonderful different touch she added . So enjoy your horse it looks great .
