Surprising Blueberry solution

Im am so surprised about what finally seems to be working on my blueberries. A cheap acid plant chemical fertilizer. I've got a sandy soil PH 6.5 on home soil tests and meters. Used all the usual soil work for blues, and alot of it. Sulfur, iron sulfate, peat, and pine chips. The soil would go as low as 5 PH, and by late summer my alkaline irrigation water would bring it back up to 6.5. My soil is stubbern, even aluminum sulfate didnt do anything. I put a ton on my blues the first year, didnt help, so I moved them after reading it could be toxic. I put that junk on my hydrangea, and it did nothing, still pink.

This winter I decided I would try some acid plant food, and if that didnt work I would dig em up, or try some battery acid in my water. I also bought some plants to try potted up. I used the usual mix, with my acid plant food. All my blues grew better then ever this spring! The new ones put on lots of growth. And the in ground ones produced tons of berries, they are finishing up now, and I threw down fertilizer to push new growth today. (I hope I didnt over do it)I put some on all my acid loving plants this winter/spring. The hydrangea has blue flowers! Its amazing, what a great PH gage! Its an 8-12-4, with sulfur, iron, and zinc. Derived from Ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate, potassium sulfate, ferric oxide and zinc oxide.
