I wish I could go! You inspired me to check the newspaper tho I wasn't expecting anything. Nothing in my town,(only 4 listings) but a nearby town is having their town-wide yard sale on May 9 I found out. That is good to know. Today was beautiful but its just not time here yet, sigh.
Our foster daughter turns 30 tomorrow! Too bad we can't go yardsaling together to celebrate.
Have a great time and let us know what you get!

We're going to some fleamarkets tomorrow. I'm so excited. I've never been to these before...Good luck and I hope you find many treasures...

Apparently us Kathys are living in colder climates where it isn't rummage sale season yet. We normally have to wait until mid-May for sales around here. The weather is too unpredictable around here yet. This summer I'd like to hit a fleamarket or two. We have some big ones here in Wisconsin. We used to have a nice one near Milwaukee but they sell mostly new crap now instead of old junk. :^(

I hit a couple today and bought a few things. Like a metal table with big wheels and wood top...shall I use it for garden or work table, hmmm. I am posting a dumpster find in a bit. We have a neighberhood sale next Sat and I need to get stuff ready...out of money now, lol.

Dulcimer, I think I remembered reading in a previous post that you live in Tennesee ? Have you ever been to the worlds longest yard sale ? It's also referred to as the 127 sale. It runs for over 650 miles from Alabama to Tennesee and ends in West Unity Ohio. There is over a 1,000 vendors in Alabama alone ! The yard sale runs for 4 days. This year it starts Aug.6 and ends on the Aug.9th.Beside the actual vendors who set up booths, a lot of people in towns along the route set up sales in their yards. It is hot, crowded, sometimes frustrating and the most fun you will ever have :Susan

Bummer! I found loads of totem making stuff, great green glass plates for flowers, candle holders, a nifty coffee pot looking cookie jar, a set of cups and saucers with roses on them, very pretty, a glass cassarole dish, a cute little frog ceramic thingy, a hand thrown thingy that looks like a home for toads. A bolt of linen cloth for curtains for my outdoor kitchen. Books, a small metal swing, some tv trays, large plexiglass pieces about 2x3 ft. A cute frog door bell, I will be putting on the gnome home boulder. A pretty rose ceramic dish with lid that has a broken handle, and its perfect for a vine plant.
A green glass vase, a glass cake plate, and I can't remember what else. My Hubbs insisted I pack them straight from the car, and their loaded on the trailor, so no pictures until I get home next weekend, thats the Bummer! part...lol
Sorry guys, you have to wait, and it will seem like christmas when I get home, and unpack it all, and figure out where its going. I will take a picture, just so you can see it all.
A pretty set of Murano stemware with glass fishes on the 4 piece set. Two nice glass tumblers.

Oh also an iron holder, cutlery rack, the wierd thing is no big stuff, and no clothes.. unusual for me.

And tomorrow is a trip to the flea market, I will probably find something big because my hubbs leaves in the morning for tennessee..lol
Oh yea, I did get a cast iron stove for my yard. This will be my third, and will probably fill all three with flowers somehow..

    Hi All,

I arrived back home yesterday, and have been happily unpacking my loot and deco-yarding. I found the cutest Manatee, a bunch of metal tree frogs, pretty plates for the border, check it out!

Things around here get rearranged pretty often,, lol
My weeds and grass is sky high, I've been pulling weeds and trimming grass in between deco.

I still have a few tulips up to enjoy!

That thing on the tree stump is a chipmunk feeder.. I love to watch them run up the tree and sit in the house eating sunflower seeds, or more likely stuffing their little cheeks with them.
