Successful junking day!

Yesterday, my DD and my nephew and I went to our favorite junk shopping spot and also to my favorite nursery....we had a great time and had a very successful day...scored lots of deals. My favorite...the topiary planter for $6 and two Humpty Dumpty pitchers for $3! Woohoo!

Yes, I'd call that a success. It looks like maybe you found some of the Camark pottery that I collect, love the green vase. And that Humpty is precious. I've been trying to refrain from shopping till I get caught up on my current projects: WonderHorse, and 4th of July totems. Sounds like ya'll had a blast.

You certainly had a successful junking day! :o) Don't you get all giddy & happy when you find good deals? I sure do! I would not have known that was a topiary planter ~ have never seen one.

WOW, Marlene! You did SCORE! I'm wondering about that 3-section church-like window shape votive holder...will pretty bottles fit in that for your gardens! (blue ones, maybe! LOL!)

Your "Treasure Shopping" was over-the-top successful. I think the Greenie Monster just attacked me! I want to shop with you now!
That topiary planter is fantastic, and the 3-section votive holder thing..WOW. Those two finds would have had me dancing all the way home for sure. And then you found a lot of other great stuff to boot. Way to go, Gal.

What wonderful things! I like that little lion and the brass looking teapot too. The Humpty-Dumpty pieces are adorable and the votive church-window looking screen is cool too. I like the topiary but would have no idea how to plant something on it that would allow the cool shape to show through so I'd do something with it as-is. What a great haul! Be sure to post pictures of any projects you use them in!
