Has anyone here ever tried pruning primocane fruiting varieties of raspberries, before the fruit buds set in the spring? I've got a couple primocanes that are two tipped, for lack of a better word, and both tips are setting fruit. Might be from damage during a hail storm. Just wondered if anyone had tried pruning the canes in June, to force the plant to set more fruiting tips.
