Summer budding apples

I got as load of budwood and I've been grafting away. I have lots of experience with Winter grafting, but this is my first Summer bud grafting run. I use an inverted T-bud. I was hoping to get some advice from folks on bug grafting. I'd hate to do the 150+ grafts I have to do and do all of them wrong.

The climate here should be ideal for grafting in the Summer, daytime temps run 65-80F and night time temps run 46-52F. (Northern California Santa Cruz mountains, some elevation, 365 day growing season for apples with high Winter chill but rarely any freezes. Anna apples bloom in January while late Winter apples like pink lady are still hanging on the trees.)
