Wow!! you are soo good at them... I have seen some in the past and saved the pics to make one... I forget to look for lamp bases to use. They are darling.

i pick up lamp bases at the local 2nd hand store for $1 each.the tea kettles are harder to come by and usually they cost up to $5 each.the rest of the junk is usually 10-50 cents.

My thrift shops have gone up so high that any lamps are $5-8. I can find them at a couple of thrift shops tho. My DD and her hubby found a 99cent thrift shop. I spent $30 there last week . I left them a card to call me when they had more microwave plates (totem bases) and if they had coffee pots and kettles. I will see about DD posting a photo--it's still all in the truck. I curbshopped a headboard (and part of another one-nice spindle) this week also.

Nonacook, I am so envious! A 99 cent TS--that would be so fun. Prices at my local TS are getting higher too. Lamps are the same as yours or higher, and glass items are $2.98 and up now. I really think they would sell more if they kept the prices lower--I know I pass things by now that I would have bought before.

Jhosta, those pot gals are too cute. I haven't seen teakettles or coffee pots around here.
