Bed spring cross

I am new to the forum and thought I would share my lastest recycle project. I found an old twin box spring that had been burned in a fire. Took them apart, cleaned them and made them into a cross.

Lovely! Great recycle. I have seen table top Christmas trees made from old springs also that are really cute

I saw it somewhere on a forum recently, and I have a ton of springs. I can't stay out of the yard/garden long enough to make anything it seems. Just on-going up-keep with weeds and the flooding etc that we had......
I have been working out there with a helper 4 hours a day and 3-4 days a week. That is why my collar-bone won't heal!!??!!

Very nice save!! The little trees are neat too if you have some left to use for that! I think someone on Crafts & decorations Forum also made an angel with bedsprings, probably Kudu she made such neat things. Jan
