    It is rift and quarter cut oak - natural stain. Unfinished engineerd when installed. Two sands and 2 finish coats after.

    Thanks for the info. I was unsure if oak would be too "rustic" for a modern space but this looks great.

    How durable are white oak engineered hardwood floors? Can you wear shoes on this floor? Thx.

    White Oak is very durable. A good quality engineered floor will let you site sand, stain, and finish just like a solid floor. Rift & Quartered is very beautiful. We just sent a 10" wide plank floor to another Houzz user. Here are some shots.
