Replace Snapper Wheel Bearing

I need to replace a Snapper P2167517BV self-propelled right rear wheel bearing. I picked up the bearing today. I was just wondering if there is anything special I should know about replacing it. Is there any special technique in removing the wheel nut? Is it removed by turning counter clockwise and is there any special torque needed when I replace it?

If it's self propelled, then there is no wheel bearing per se. The rear wheels are held fixed to the axles, which are driven from a center differential. There are bearings in each side of the differential, I'm sure (don't have the diagram in front of me, but there have to be). Not sure what bearing you have already obtained, but you should go online to snapper.com, go to "publications," and you can download the owners manual and probably the service manual as well. That should tell you what you need to know if you're replacing that axle bearing at the differential.
