where to begin?
The other day I was out mowing with my trusty old lawnboy. I have no idea what model it is but its an old bricktop comercial model. My 8 yr old son was helping me pick up the lawn prior to mowing when a thought occured to me. Why not get the little 18in lawnboy out of the attic for the boy to use? Well the two of us took her apart and cleaned her up. We had her running very strong and soon the boy was off mowing his first stretch of lawn. Well.... Im not sure what he ran over but it killed the engine and it wouldnt restart. When i pulled the flywheel off i found that the flywheel key was made of steel and had destroyed the flywheel. The crank is ok but the flywheel is fractured.
My question is, do any of you out there know where i can find a flywheel for this thing. Its a 63? model 18in mower with a C-76 engine painted a pale yellow. Is this a pretty specific flywheel or might i find one from a different model to fit?
Thanks
