Thats what I did too, goldenpond. Got out the garlands of colored leaves and sunflower swag I save from year to year. Oh and candles, definately time for candles in the house even if it is still 95 degrees. Happy fall y'all!

Syble, that is VERY pretty and oh so colorful. Since I'm a "more is more" kinda person, I don't think the word over-do is in my vocabulary. LOL. I love how you did the entire setting.

Very pretty - night or day! I think you have everything so artfully displayed that it isn't overwhelming. Everything just kind of blends together without glaringly standing out. I agree with the others that your red bowling ball really pops along side the mums and pumpkins! Good thing I don't live nearby though because I might grab a gourd and run. lol! Well ... okay walk kind of slowly and trying not to be conspicuous. lol Great job!

Very pretty. I know what you mean about it being hot. I'm in Tx zone8 and I redid my flower beds Friday evening. I could stand the heat, it was the mosquito's that bothered me.

That is the cutest scarecrow I've ever seen. Your decorations are great. My cats would love that wreath.
