Nice addition to your flower bed. Let it speak to you, then you will know what to do.

Great deal!!! Looks great where it is too!!!

Good find, here is a pic of one that I got for free and put in my flower bed. Syble {{gwi:193110}}

My grandma(Russian Bobba) had one that I slept in.It was black.

Tiffani, I have a set like that and paid $5 at a yard sale - mine had been painted gold. DH repainted white and we've used them in the garden to prop up some tall plants. Don't have a pic as this year they stayed in the shed because we had so many things to do.

Great find! So many ideas for the bed posts...maybe the Inspiration Album will give you more to think about! Link below. I pd. $10 for a brown set this summer...didn't use them in gardens yet...so your price is wonderful! Have fun & TFS pic! Jeanne S.

Lucky you, I would have grabbed them up at even $9, I need 7 more for my daylily bed fence I am making from headboards.

I have one exactly like that in my attic-- minus the white paint.
My Grandma had it for 15 years and I slept in it every time I stayed over. My husband and I used it for several years before we decided to get a bigger bed.

I just don't have the heart to use it outside... yet.

Tiffani, great find! It's beautiful even without being ornate. You are going to have a blast deciding what to do with it!
Doin' the happy dance for ya!!

Great price! Will look good most anywhere in a garden! Jan

You could find a place in your yard with nothing around it and bury the legs until the headboard sets just at ground level and do the same for the foot board. Make sure the two are planted the same length as a bed and then plant some white mums at area of the head board (like pillows) and then mix 2 or 4 colors of mums and place them along the rest of the bed to the foot board (like a quilt) and when people ask you about it you can tell them it is your flower bed. There is one in town that is done like that and it is the only thing in her yard, really neat actually.

Great buy! I like the idea of the "flower bed" but even propped against the wall like you have them in the picture, looks great. I also like katladie's idea of building a fence with them. I always thought it would be cool to make a bench out of one too. Even just using the headboard as the back of an armless bench. Have fun and keep us posted!

What a great score for you!!! Looks great...can't wait to see what you do with it!
