moringa tree propagation using branches

I planted my first Moringa tree this spring and am amazed at the fast growth. I plan to whack off the upper branches before winter's freeze kills them and plant 2 foot (or so) long sections in pots with hope that they would root. I wonder if ther are any Moringa growers here who could give their instructions on propagation with the branches. I don't want them to just freeze and go to waste/compost. I understand that the non-frozen lower roots/trunk will grow back each spring. Also, can the newer, greener trunk area be used for rooting, or only the more "woody" parts of the trunk? Is there a best time of the year to try this? Should the potted sticks be kept in a less-cold garage over the winter? Is it best to plant directly in the ground and build cold protection around each? Should the sticks' ends be sealed? Should they be wrapped with parafilm to retain moisture?
