The Garden Party

Rather chilly this A.M.

Wearher Bureau says 19 blow zero with a wind chill of minus 32. Believe I'll stay inside. Went out for the paper and it is a little hard to breathe, moisture in your nose tries to freeze when you take a breath. Glad we got that 14 inches of snow Sunday and Monday, good insulation for low growing things.

Brrrrrr, that's cold. Be careful getting the paper tomorow morning. My former neighbor, born in northern Main, used to call it 2 union suit weather.
We have about 2" of snow, but just below freezing.

Oh my gosh, that is cold. Interesting comment from your former neighbor. I've heard of "a three dog" night. I'd call it a very high bill from the energy company.

I remember that weather and delivering the paper in it at 4:00 AM. Remember Ralph's little brother bundled up in A Christmas Story.
