Can you please tell me how to care for this plant? I searched on the web but it's so general, I thought some of you may have a better methods of grown this type of paph. Thank you and hope to hear from you all soon.
I'm growing a few Michael Koopowitz crosses in semi-hydro and they're quite happy. They have good light, of course, which helps a lot for everything, but especially helps in semi-hydro for me.
Both species that make up this cross grow in warm humid environments with heavy rainfall most of the year. Cultivated plants appreciate humidity and should not be allowed to dry out completely. During winter months when temps tend to be cooler and light somewhat reduced, growth will naturally slow and a little drying between watering is advised. Good air movement, and light should be bright but diffused.
Thank you both for your posts, that will give me a better idea to care for this plant. Now what is lowest/hight temperture that this plant can take? I'm in Tampa, Florida so in summer it will be very dry and the temp can be up to 90 deg or more, winter can go down to low 30 deg some time, I want to leave the plant out side but I am not sure. One more question, right now the plant has 10" leaf span, how long does it take to get to BS plant? Thank you very much for your help.
