Does the Cymbidium have a name? No idea of values in Southern California but
here it depends on the plant being in bloom, the blooms nicely staked, and of attractive colour and form.

You would get a reasonable price if the plant was presented like those shown by Charles B. over on the gallery and not much if the blooms are dull and ordinary.

At orchid Society Auctions out of bloom noid Cymbidiums would "struggle" to get a bid.

A non-speific Cymbidium with 7 stalks and vigorous growth is probably worth $50 or so. If it has a tag and the flowers are of good shape with no daylight between petals and sepals, strong color, good spacing of the flower etc, with one word a premium Cymbidium then it would be might several hundred dollars.

I'm no cymbidium grower. Over the last few months we visited my daughter in Mass. and went to Trader Joes. Each time I went I bought a couple of in bloom or bud cymbidiums with no names. The ones for sale had between 2 to 4 bloom spikes with the most of them only having two. These where NOIDS with no names and sold for around $25 with the tax.

I would not pay more than $30 for this plant especially if you are in socal. If you have the bloom picture would help. If this turned out to be pendulous or specie Cymbidium or a desirable clone, it can be in the hundreds. When you repot this plant you might be in luck if there is a tag buried in the mix. Post the pic of the flowers when it is in bloom.
