Hybridizing Masdevallias

Hello All!

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good resource of reference for Masdevallia Hybridization??

Kind of curious to see if I could make a successful cross.

Let me know!

Thanks!

Talk to Gerardus Staal of Peninsula Hybrids in Palo Alto California, he has been doing it for over 30 years. http://penorchidsoc.org/speakers/07_05/

He may have taken down his website but he is very interested in teaching. I have his number, if you wish you can email me and with his permission I will put you in contact.

Hi Nick.
Looked at the website, it's still up, but no contact info. Do you suppose Gerardus Staal corresponds by email?

If so, feel free to pass along either:

Thanks Nick!

I think he does email but not promptly. If no response email me and I'll ask him if it's OK to pass on his phone number to you.
